Anyone know anything about this boat in VA? Looks to be well-restored, though I'd imagine some would balk at the colors. (I like them though)

I know the area well, but don't know the boat. As far as the colors go, I like the hull color. BlueJacket is Awlgripped in Royal Blue, which is 1-2 shades darker. I've always liked colored hulls as they stand out in a sea of white hulls. I don't know about the bottom paint color, but that's easy to change. Personally I go with Shark White from Interlux, which is a grayish white.

There are some pictures taken of Mariposas total rebuild in the 'Photos' section of the original Freedomyachts2003 group.

Maybe that you have to log in in order to see the photos.

Thanks for the link- that's great!
So I see they are painting it with rollers and brushes- does that mean it's not Awlgrip and might be flaking off sometime in the near future?
It all looks really nice.

It can't be AwlGrip, but it could be AwlCraft or any number of marine paints that are brushable.
