I just bought a Freedom 30 (Piper). I would like to make contact with other Freedon 30 owners.

Welcome! I own a Freedom 30 in Vancouver, BC. There's at least one other F30 owner in Puget Sound.
There's a Freedom rendezvous in Kingston July 31 to August 2 where you could meet us and other Freedom owners. Contact ksizeratcomcastdotnet for more info and to get your name on the NW Freedom list.
Where are you going to keep Piper?

Hope to meet you in July.

Welcome aboard! We just launched our Freedom 30, Solitude, yesterday in Blue Hill Bay, Maine. Spent a windy and rainy night on the mooring, loving every minute of it.

I purchased my Freedom 30 last summer in July. After bringing her north through the Cape Cod Canal, I keep her in Salem (MA) harbor. Managed to get her out almost daily for the rest of the summer. I had so much fun, I stopped going online very much, so this is my first post here. She was wonderful in about any kind of wind. I can't wait for this year's launch!

I'm a little late to the party, but we purchased a 93 Freedom 32 in 2011 in Seattle. Currently she lives in Port Orchard. We just repowered with a Beta 20 and am still figuring out what I've got and how it will differ from the Yanmar 2GM20(F) I took out. I hope that the day after tomorrow I will bring her home from Gig Harbor, where she's on the hard getting a new prop and some cleaning up of the keel.

Just curious about the year and hull number of your recently purchased F32. What I’ve seen indicates these Hoyt-designed F32s were only produced in the mid 1980s.
Also how many hours were on your Yanmar, was it original and what killed it? Mine F32 has the original 3GMF and it seems healthy though I’d sometimes wish for a few more HP.

There seems to be a growing Freedom community in the Puget Sound. Must be due to all the smart and practical people who live in Washington and eastern Canada.

Welcome, and glad you made the right choice regarding your sailboat purchase.
