Charter -

Post by bighopper252 »

I am looking to purchase a F38, coming from a performance reaching Carter 33.
I have not sailed any "Such" boat...:) Is there a charter company somewhere that rents these?
Could I come and crew for someone ... if possible south of Boston???
Thank you !

My boat, F38, is on the hard in Bristol RI. Happy to take you out for a spin in the spring. Heck you can help me put the sails on.

That would be with pleasure. If I do not get decided before! What did you sail BEFORE F38? How is speed? How is she running ? What should I have a look for, while "surveying?
Thanks!

Check out this charter company in RI. They feature two Freedom 38's.There is some good information about the F38 on their web page. Not sure how current their web page is though.

There is someone who charters freedom 36 or 38 out of Narragansett Bay. You are welcome to hitch a ride on my 40/40 with I now have after 8 years with a 36/38. The boat is in Barrington RI, just North of Bristol.

One of the best people to speak with is Mark Edwards. I don't know of anyone who knows more about individual model Freedoms or, even more important, a great deal about particular boats.

If I were buying or selling a Freedom he would be my broker. Give Mark a call at (774) 526-0914, I know you will learn a great deal.
