Freedom 40 or 44's on the West Coast?

Post by bad »

Hey you all! Looking for Freedom owners on the West Coast - CA, OR, WA... 40 CC or 44 preferred. Like to chat, possibly come and visit to look at the boat. I know there used to be a green one up in Seattle, possibly 10 years ago, and a couple in the Bay Area, but I've not been able to find them. Any info would be helpful.

Ahoy Erik,

I have a F42CC (it's the only one made, hull #1 of the 45 series) it's a 45 without the sugar scoop.
Great boat, I'm very happy with it, I'm a live aboard in So-Cal, Long Beach Shoreline Marina.
I'm not sure of any other Freedoms, there was a 40-40 here for a while, but I haven't seen it in a while.

Cheers,
Chuck

Hi Chuck and happy Holidays to you. I was able to find some images of the 45 on the net, not of your boat. They look cool. Thanks for replying.

The F44 Aquavit, formerly Frog Kiss is docked at Shilshole in Seattle. The owner's name is Per Curtiss. He always comes to the PNW Freedom rendezvous. That's the only F44 I know of in the area.

Tricia - thanks for the reply. Frog Kiss used to be an East Coast boat, no? I wonder how it got to this side?

Erik, I think Per bought it after it lost one mast and had it shipped across. I'm sure he could tell you the story.
