Hello. New member here. Interested if anyone here knows more about the Freedom 24 Tripp model. Interested in sailing performance in moderate air..12-15 knots singlehanded. Any thing to look for in buying these models used?
Sailing area is long Island Sound.
Thx!

Re: Freedom 24 (Tripp)
This is a fast light boat. With the self-tacking jib single handing should be a breeze. Not sure about flying the asymmetric spinnaker single handed. I only sailed a F24 once and she moved along nicely in a light breeze. Long Island Sound would be a good place to sail this boat.
Happy sailing,

New member here as well. In the process of buying a Freedom 24 (Tripp). Wondering if any members have additional info on this particular Freedom (owner's manual, etc) as information is scarce to say the least. I'll post more later this spring with a report on the boat.
Thanks,
