Art Onboard

Postby THATBOATGUY » Sun Dec 14, 2008 7:40 pm

I make nautical themed jewelry and I'll be moving my work bench aboard Marquesa. It's always a challenge finding space for ones activities aboard but somehow I'll manage. I do have a head start in that I have a small bench setup that we have taken with us in the R/V.

Here are some photos.

Nice work on the jewelry. Do you sell through galleries or stores? Perhaps you already have a store on www.etsy.com. If you don't, you should think about that as a way to sell your work. Check out my wife's site at: www.wedesigns.etsy.com. Best wishes for the New Year! Mark Edwards

Hi Mark,

So far we have sold to fellow travelers, some folks from some of the other sailing forums and also at art shows (although we sneaked it out among my friends stuff). I don't want to set up consignment or online yet. I'm hoping that we will sell to fellow cruisers while we are out and about. :)

Your wife's work is quite nice also.
