Wow, does the mast actually bend that much, or is that a fisheye lens picture?

Definitely a bit of both. It was gusty - I had single reef in and wind was up around 25knots.

The photo is from a GoPro on wide mounted on the pulpit but I used the software to take out the fish eye.... not sure it did it fully.

I will have to try again and put the camera in normal mode but mount it on the end of the spinnaker pole a deploy it forward.... might get a better idea then :-)

Great photo Peter and Ferronia is looking great. I bet one of the sailing mags would publish it if they saw it as the angles, mast bend and colours are amazing.
