I was hoping people would be interested in a Freedom gtging this summer in the RI area, I think if people show an interest then we can sort out a location and a date. I know of 4 F25's in the New England area and I've seen quite a few larger Freedom's in and around Narragansett bay. Could be fun to have a community sail and evening gtging in a cove or harbor which everyone could take park in and enjoy. I look forward to hearing back from people and hope this can happen this summer.

One thing that would be kind of neat and get some Freedom's out on the water is to join in with the 2000 Club on the Bay. They do 4 races over the course of the summer (one race in June, two in August and one in September), all distance races with varying types of courses. You can race as spinnaker or non-spinnaker, the races all end up at a central location where the group has a party of some sort. Integrating the Freedoms into this would be a neat way of getting people out for fast passages (one is a Race to BI, one is a race around Aquidneck Island, another is a navigators race that ends in Wickford) and ending up somewhere that they can rendevous with other Freedoms and enjoy other sailors company as well. You should check it out, I won the Prince Henry Race last year on my F21, the hurricane minimized participation but it's a great race. http://www.twentyhundredclub.org/

We would be interested if we can fit it in. We plan on launching from Wickford the third week in June and would probably leave the Bay after the first week in July.

Thinking potters cove early sept

Potters cove in September may work for me. I am still trying to finish up my Freedom 28CK to splash before the end of August. I am located in Riverside, RI.
