Camberspar

I just decommissioned my new F30 and when I was taking down the jib, I dropped the metal part that covers the front wheel in the camberspar overboard (yes, you learn the hard way!) Does anyone know where I can buy a new part?
Thanks,

Also Try Dave Bierig

Bierig sailmakers
11092 Freeport Lane North East, PA 16428‎

he designed the camberspar, may know where to find replacement parts.

Let us know if you find it. I've almost lost mine every time I've removed it. You need three hands and a tail.

Having done the same thing, there is a little hole in the piece to which I attached a line to use as a keeper that was loosely tied to the headstay.

I just spoke to Dave Bierig and I purchased TWO retainers. Dave is now 70 years old and parts for the spar will not be available forever! (his words!) The retainers are $10 each, and if you call Dave, he'll take your name and mail them to you right away.

Yes, there is one just off my dock in 10 feet of water at Navy Point Marina in Sackets Harbor if you need one. I now have another one in use and three spares. Now I always make sure I secure it to the boat with a string before doing anything with it.
Correction: one in use and two spares
