new freedom 45 owner.

Post by lewharve »

I got this boat as a bank repo and with that they hand you the keys and say good luck. so it has been a voyage of discovery on going through.
as a bank repo everything that could be stripped out was.
the two biggest questions I have is does anyone have the specs and dimensions of the jib boom
and where is the holding tank for the forward head.
also any suggestions or info would be appreciated.

The forward holding tank is in my boat under the front V berth just under/aft of the chain locker.
For details of the jib boom you best contact Paul Dennis, owner of Warren River Boatworks in Warren, R.I.
Probably the best source for information and spare parts for any Freedom.

thanks I will contact dennis tomarrow. now...
I have a raw water pump in the aft head what is that for. I am guessing maybe the warsh down hose. if so can I mount in one the transducer thru hulls and mount a refig unit in that thru hull.
and...
there is a plate with heavy duty steel cased hoses into it and some wires on the roof of the generator locker.
maybe dennis will know. I will post a pic
thanks
