seacock for freedom32

Post by Equinox »

I am a new owner of a freedom 32. I have 2 frozen seacocks located on the starboard side. One is for the toilet discharge and the other is for water intake. Both seacocks are located in a very inaccessible location. Does any body know how to improve such design? Maybe relocate them or attach metal piping through the hull and put a valve in a better location?

I installed a removable, circular, plastic port light just off the deck so I could reach back and operate those two valves. Works OK.

Just to second Bob's solution, the PO did that on my F32 as well. Makes my monthly exercise of those seacocks easier than it would be otherwise.
