I have removed the holding tank and y valve in my 30. I had planned to remove all head plumbing and seal through hull before a recent race but ran out of time. I realize I am now illegal inshore.
I single-handed almost exclusively and hate the thought of sewage sloshing around in a tank inside my boat. I use wag bags and store them on board for disposal ashore. These contain waste and are dry and manageable stored. Offshore I use a bucket which works amazingly well I have found.
I am wondering if I complete all plumbing removal but maintain the unplumbed throne for wag bag use, do I face any regulatory issues inshore?
