Fridge Monitor - Tempo Disc

Post by Ereiss »

I'm trying a new solution to monitor fridge temp. It looks pretty good, assuming I get enough range through the insulated walls. The batteries last two years with monitoring every fifteen minutes. I'll let you know how it turns out. Used bluetooth to send info to your phone.

(no relationship other than I was looking for a way to easily check the temp)

Be interesting to hear if it works. Always good to know whether the beer is going to be cold when we get out to the boat and head into Buzzards Bay!

Have used the Tempo Disc and have been very satisfied. Easy to read, via blu tooth, on my iphone anywhere on the boat. I simply put it on the middle shelf. I found battery life, if you don't turn it off, to be several weeks.

I'm getting one of these: http://stainlesslobster.com
A friend of a friend makes them and friend #1 has one and swears by it.
