Having just recently purchased my 1986 F36 I noted that there is somewhere around 100-150 ft of chain and about 100 ft of three strand nylon rode. I have to admit I have not ranged my anchor chain and rode out from the locker so i am unaware if there is a drain hole in it. If there is, do you hose it down with fresh water when you are back in the marina to get rid of the mud and any other dirt or you lower it out in the water when berthed and wash the chain as you heave it back in by windlass? If you are hosing it inside the locker does it drain well so not to flood the v-berth?
