I'm looking into redesigning a new table for the F25/F21. the goal is to make a light well designed table that works well in the cockpit & cabin, and is affordable. how many people out their would be interested in buying one?
I was also hoping to get some feed back from people: via pics, comments, etc
what I've heard
1. impossible to find orig
2. heavy
3. hard to use companion way with table in cabin
cheers,

Re: who would be interested in a light, well designed F25 table?
When I was shopping for a Freedom 25, I was very interested in trying to find one with the table. What I find now that I have one is that we primarily use our boat for day sailing, and I think a table would get in the way more often than it would prove useful.

thanx for your feedback,
I'm hoping to design a table which is light enough and simple with good design so that it's easy to store and use when needed.

I think storage is the key. I'm willing to bet most F25 owners are primarily day sailors. On the rare occasions I use the table it is mostly in the cockpit.
I got tired of the heavy table always cluttering up my quarter berth, so it now lives in my shed. I would like to see a lightweight, durable table that was designed and came with hardware to allow it to be stored out of the way somewhere on the boat.

Here are some pictures of my table. It needs a bit of TLC which I will apply if I ever actually start using it. It is constructed of plywood with a solid wooden leg.

Note the mounting brackets on the back of the table. There should be matching brackets on your companionway stairs, and at the back end of the cockpit.
