F25 water line, were is yours?

Post by yarrow »

were is your water line? I've started to work on the hull and have found a new water line which looks to be in the orig gel coat, it's a good 4-6" below the existing. The biggest differance is the existing line puts the stern bottom edge just in the water, but the old line put the entire stern out of the water. Thinking the differance might be the inboard diesel and not. From what I hear these boats really suffer from dragging the stern, would be nice to know the boat was designed not to have stern in water on the hook.
cheers,

Mine has always had an outboard, but the waterline mark sounds like it is about where you found yours, ie it leaves the transom dry, which is of course what you want to strive for.
