Ports and Rigging

Post by Tyche »

Hi All -

Getting to know on our "new-to-us" F36 ('86). Are the metal opening ports Bomar 3000s and did they ever have screens? Have ordered replacement lenses and screens for the plastic 4x14 (Defender has great prices compared to other places). The two larger opening ports don't have screens, which will be a necessity.

Also, if you are looking to run new rigging, recommend checking out Cajun Rope (http://www.cajunrope.com). They have the rigging specs for the F36 and put together a kit (excluding vang and lazy jacks) for about $700, which included SS shackles, line color of your choice, splices, whipped ends, and shipping. Their dock line prices are also really good. Delivery was less than 7 days from order placement. Have used them on past boats and the Cajun XLE is excellent.

Tyche gets launched this week and we'll hopefully be out on Buzzards Bay next weekend, weather permitting.
