Is this a Freedom 40?

Post by Capitan Sardina »

Just saw this in another forum.
Yacht on fire.

2 masts, 40 ft. and the pict shows a whisbone. It looks suspiciously like an F-40.

Anybody heard anything?

Looks like a Nonsuch to me. I know that the article stated "2 masted", but I only see 1.

The photo shows a Nonsuch style wishbone, Freedom wishbones are round at the forward end. Also as Freedom wishbones go up and down with the sail they would be horizontal is the sail was down.
