New owner of a 1984 F32

Post by casagf66 »

Hey Gang,

My name is George and I am a proud new owner of a 1984 F32 hull #13. I just recently purchased the boat from Connecticut and plan on sailing her back home to my home port (Northport Long Island) this weekend. I previously owned a 1976 C&C 30 , but decided to upgrade to a more spacious boat as I will be lliving onboard this summer. I really love the layout of these boats and have read a lot of positive articles and discussions about their build quality and sailing performance. I am excited to be apart of the Freedom Yacht family and look foward to getting to know you all.

Cheers !

Welcome to the Freedom family, and congratulations on the purchase! I purchased 1984 F32 Hull #28, to be named Ebbing Latitude when the weather breaks, in October in CT as well, and she's now in Warwick RI. Looks like some nice option on there including the anchor and rigid vang.

Do some digging around, you will find a lot of history here, in particular, suggest the documentation area, where the original manuals are, as well as the old F32 Newsletters (there were/are a popular boat you will find)

welcome George, nice to have you aboard! The F32 is indeed a nice boat. I have a 1982 F-33 CK and sail out of Greenport but grew up in Northport and is where I first learned to sail. Hope to see you out there. If I can be of any help contact me , I'd be glad to hear from you. Rick
