BlueJacket's new paint job

Post by GeoffSchultz »

One of the nice things about having a BlueJacket out of the country is getting work done for a fraction of what it would cost in the US. I just had BlueJacket AwlGripped at RAM marine in Guatemala for $5600 and am very happy with the results. I last had BlueJacket painted in 2001 in Grenada, but since then she's been through 100+ locks and the fenders pick up grit from the walls and dull the paint. Now it looks like she's back to normal.

Wow, Geoff, what a great job they did! I missed your post first time around and was just looking for something else when I came across your pictures. I so want to re-paint Kynntana, but other things are taking priority right now. Did you also add the rub rail? That would be such a nice addition, too!
