Re: fuse panels
I would break it down to
1-2 breakers for the internal lights
1 breaker each for running lights/steaming light/anchor light
1+ breakers for instruments
Hard wire and fuse the bilge pump. You don't want that getting shut off accidentally at the panel. Get an On/Off/Manual switch with an indicator light to show when it's running.

Re: fuse panels
If I may suggest, add a separate fuse for the GPS/Radar and a separate one for the digital module of the sonar. When updating the Raytheon software, there is a step during which the current to the "screen" of the E-series has to be on, and the module has to be turned on and off. And we only have a couple of seconds to do that... unscrewing the connector is awkward..

Re: fuse panels
I have been working on an electrical diagram for my F25 also; will post when complete.

Re: fuse panels
As part of doing my Fuse panel and electrical work I'm also looking into battery options:
a smaller battery just for starting the motor, and a House battery for general use. or to have 2 large batteries. I also interested in what charging systems people are using and how they are running them?
cheers,
yarrow

Re: fuse panels
Here's the panel for my old F25. I just had one battery, hence the simple on/off battery switch. The cig lighter plug was already installed when I bought the boat. I installed the battery switch (there hadn't been one), a new Blue Seas breaker panel to replace the old fuse panel, and a volt meter.
Re: fuse panels
thanx for the pic,
I also like the volt meter and the flashlight mount. I was thinking of moving the fuse panel to just above the engine cover lots of space and central to the boat.
cheers,
yarrow

Re: fuse panels
hi ive just bought a blue seas breaker panel for kusis nav station there was a cheap screw in fuse panel before and i dislike fuses and much prefer breakers as you cant run out of breakers and is quicker to reset
phil
im afraid my layout would be no good on a 25 as i have lots of extras
