Bow Thruster

Post by Knevins »

Thinking of having a bow thruster installed in my F 36/38? Anyone with experience/comments/suggestions?

Why would a 36/38 footer need a bow thruster? Really, some handling lessons would be a much better solution.

Geoff, been sailing about 55 years, cruising boat owner for 29 years, but can always use lessons... Find myself alone, getting in and out of a slip with a 10kt crosswind a lot of the time. Just trying to find out if a bow thruster is as good as some say, and worth the 10k it would cost me.
