F21 Traveler Rail.. broken bolts

Post by Rick@RISE »

Having a hard time finding or even describing the bolt that is broken.
Flat - Counter Sunk bolt, stainless, approx 5", machine thread at the end with the odd nut that sinks flush inside the cabin.
Used to bolt the traveler rail down on top of the cabin.
Suggestions?

The odd nut you are looking for is called a barrel nut. You need to find out what thread this nut is and look for the corresponding stainless bolt. You should be able to find them online. Check MCMaster-Carr

You can get them at Jamestown distributors. Or west marine if you have a local one.

Double check the size of the bolt... the link is from an old order of mine, but since all of the deck hardware has barrel nuts on it I bought two sizes at the time and I don't remember which is which.

While you're at it check the others as well since they're probably rusted as well.
