Steering System access on an F-30

I went to inspect my steering system (quadrant, pulleys and cables) on my F-30 and I could not figure out where to access them. I can get at them a little from the lazarette but I'm hoping there is another access panel that screws out or something else I missed.
Any help would be appreciated

Also there is a box in the aft cabin on the cabin roof. The box has a screw out bottom panel. Pull the panel off and you have access to the underside of the pedestal and the pullys which fairlead the cables aft to the quadrant. The box is impossible to miss. Its about 3 inches deep by 18 inches wide by 24inches long.

Absolutely made my day when I saw it. Love to see these boats doing the Transpac. How'd you (and the boat) make out?

Well, we made it to Hawaii and I was not last so I rate it a huge success. Going to see if I can get further from last in the race this year.

I have some Freedom competition this year. F38 Kynntana is competing. That means 10 percent of the fleet will be Freedoms.
