Boom Bale source??

Post by mike cunningham »

My F30 has three boom bales. The after two bales are occupied by main sheet blocks. The forward bale seems to be a bit longer and is occupied by the vang. I am using a block and tackle for the vang. This forward bale has broken. Does anyone know a source for these largish bales? If all else fails I will have one fabricated, but a production item might be a bit cheaper than custom.

Mike,

Rig-Rite, Inc in Rhode Island has many components for older Freedoms. I believe that I purchased an identical boom bale to the one that broke on my Kenyon boom on my former F-32 (Hoyt).

Excellent, I see thay have a variety of bales. I am going to call them and confirm dimensions but looks like a good source. Thanks!!
