F-30 Dodger/bimini Wanted

Post by Jefffriday »

I am in the process of resurrecting a F30, I want to get a dodger, but live nowhere near anyone who could make it (western slope of Colorado, and yes I brought her out here from MA for the refit in my driveway) Anyone have any ideas? I am also going to need a new mast wedge, among other items. I am a year into it and it's coming along nicely. hope to get her wet next spring, on to So Cal in a few years....

You might contact Neil Thurston at Thurston Canvas in Bristol, RI. I would think he has the templates for the dodger. I know he made mine for my F38 off of his records and only had to do the snap fitting on the boat. Perhaps this latter stage could be done by you. It is worth a chat with him. Good guy and fair prices. He can be reached at (401) 254-0970.

best of luck

Personally I would want to have the canvas person come out and template because you never know if the spans are the same in all boats.

Thanks for the suggestions, getting someone to the boat is probably not an option here on the western slope of Colorado, I have time, boat won't get wet till next year at my current rate of progress...
