Re: Structural issue
I have a deep keel but the fact the core goes as far as it does is interesting, also point loads. I have no visible cracks or leaks so I don't know.

Re: Freedom 33 Manual
Does anyone know of any structural drawings? I'm interested in the construction of the keel and it's connections to the ballast keel. I have aa 1985 33 ck deep draft and when she was hauled this fall there seemed to be a lot of deflection in the Keel assembly.

Structural issue
1985 Freedom 33 CK 6' draft. During haul out last week I noticed a flex along the keel above the ballast keel, hull a bit below the turn of the bilge. Does anyone have construction drawings for this part of the hull? Thanks, Chandler

Re: Rudder problem
Thanks Alan,
Hoping not to cut into the hull but you have to do what you have to do.
Is there anyway you could post a picture of your emergency tiller?
Thanks,
Chandler

Rudder problem
I have a f33 cat ketch. The rudder is outboard hung. The uppermost gudgeon has 4 bolts into the transom. While investigating some pot warp on the propeller shaft I noticed one of the 4 bolts was about to fall out. Upon further investigation I determined that all 4 bolts were missing the nuts on the i...

Re: boat projects - balsa core repair
CrazyRU Sounds like your making progress! Our survey didn't go very well, big parts of the starboard side read saturated, not delaminated. The yard where she is kept quoted $30,000 to make the hull right. I think I can remove the gel coat ,glass, core, leaving the interior glass to hold the shape of...
