Freedom 30 for sale in Maine
Reluctantly we have decided to sell our 1987 (Mull) F30. She has carried us all up and down the coast of Maine and up through the Bay of Fundy and the St John River. Great boat. But circumstances have changed and its time to hand her off to some one else. She is well set up for cruising. Glad to sen...

Re: Replacement window options F30
Tricia Studying your post, it seems your are working through replacing the lenses of the non opening ports, correct? A very valuable project; I polish ours monthly, at least in one patch so we can see out. Have you ever worked on replacing the gaskets between the very thin aluminum frames and the le...

Re: Replacement window options F30
Very important topic for me as well, owning Corydora a 1987 F30. I hope there are people who have found better solutions than I have. On Corydora the aluminum frames surrounding the acrylic lenses are corroding badly leading to leaks. The corrosion is obvious as pitting and voids on the interior of ...

Re: Freedom 30 or 32 New England
Bill WE have a Mull F 30 in Belfast ME which we are seriously considering selling largely due to my health, and my husbands time constrains. My husband and I have carved out 3 weeks in Sept for sailing and then we plan to re-assess. If nothing else you are welcome to come and take a walk through Mar...

Re: removing traveller track F30
Not sure that this is what you are asking... but to remove hatch cover, on my F30 you simply undo the screws on the fiberglass "turtle cover" (the shell that is forward of the traveler, can't remember its real name). Once that is off you can slide the acrylic or lexan sheet all the way forward under...

Re: Carrying a dinghy
Hi We have Freedom 30 Corydora in Belfast Maine. We installed davits but found that our Walker Bay 10 is really too heavy for them. The davits are fine and raise the dingy very high but the boat squats low in the stern because of the weight so far to the stern . The dinghy weighs 130 lbs or slightly...

Re: Looking at a Freedom 30
If it is not too late..... I own a 1987 F30 and yes you can get rot around the base of the mast because of the obscurity of the drain hole. Our teak n holly ply is trashed in that area as is a small section of the bulwark at the center line. We are scraping out the rot now. The good news is the sect...
