Gammy,
I am in Australia and out of touch. Saw this thread in my email feed. Congrats on safe arrival, sounds like a wild adventure....as usual (which is what keeps us coming back, right?).
Anyway, good on ya, mate!

Re: Masthead removal
When you all installed your tricolors how did you do your alignment. I found this difficult with the mast out of boat. I also fouled up by using a taller than necessary stand off and wound up creating a little chunk of dirty air for the wind instrument transducer so when sailing very deep I would ge...

Re: Camber spar
With regard to bending the camberspar back into proper shape, Pineapple sails was able to find data regarding the appropriate bend for the camberspar. I don't know where they got it but that info is out in the wild. If you need data on how to construct and configure a new spar, for example, the nece...

Re: Camber spar
What the heck? Sunnyislemark, it looks like you have it rigged differently in the two pics you posted, the BVI pic has it one way and the previous pic post has it the other. Am I channeling you or are you channeling me? hahahaha. But I think we all agree the BVI pic has it right. One key thing that ...

Re: Camber spar
Funny you guys mentioning the standoff. I removed the forestay at the deck and slid it through a foot long section of very stiff air pump hose. Does a nice job keeping the jib off the deck. Thanks everyone for the feedback on the camber spar doohickey attachment. I will experiment with both approach...

Re: Perko 493/500 water strainer blocking flow to water pump?
I had impeller blade bits make their way into the heat exchanger where the partially blocked flow. Probably not your issue but I would check impeller condition to be sure. May be blocking output port? I have a 2gm and have never had to prime. I think that is because the pump is below the waterline o...

Camber spar
Ok people. Which one of the holes on the inboard end of the spar is for the topping lift and which one for the sheet? As you know there is a sort of oval metal loop welded to the end of the spar. One loop is pretty snug to the spar while the other stands proud 3 or 4 inches. I think I have them back...

Re: F30 Freshwater Pump Replacement
Yea, I think I would have enough room too, just need to re-organize for the ten millionth time.
You mentioned a manual pump stubbed off the tank to pump feed. Could you tell us a bit more about what you did with the manual pump, where you located it and what it looks like?
