Re: f25 boom pin size and mast wedge
The F25Manual.pdf, which you can get here https://www.freedomyachts.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=10100, if you don't have it, shows a 3/16" mast wedge on pp.12-13. I definitely have one in my boat, which might be the original from 1984. If yours has gone missing, there is a product from SparTite ("Spart...

Re: F25 Running Rigging Rope Sizes
Just replaced the image with larger size and higher resolution. LMK if still illegible; it looks fine on my browser. Sorry for the delay in fixing this!

Re: F25 Wingmast spinnaker setup
Here is a photo showing how the reins are routed to a cam cleat on the port side of the front end of the coaming:
Starboard side is same. The stanchion holding the block is behind the dock piling on the right in the foreground.

Re: F25 Wingmast spinnaker setup
I just posted something on this to the manuals/doc area: https://www.freedomyachts.org/viewtopic.php?p=54495#p54495 These are measurements made by the PO of my boat. I am still using much of this as-is, although I did shorten the (single-line) reins by a few feet. Basically, I shortened that line so...

F25 Running Rigging Rope Sizes
These were measured by the PO of my boat when he replaced the running rigging in 2005.
It's interesting to compare prices, then vs now.

Offshore Downwind with Gunmount Spinnaker
I’m curious to hear from folks with offshore experience running off the wind with the gun-mount spinnaker. I assume this will primarily be the F32 crowd. I’ve found that my F25 handles really well under spinnaker alone going downwind in heavy conditions for inshore daysailing, probably better than w...

Re: Electric motor inboard
Looking at the Aquamot website, I can understand why you'd be tempted to choose AGMs, assuming you are thinking of buying their "house brand." It seems they have developed their own brand of AGM's with "massive" plates that they claim are designed for "750 cycles at 75% discharge at 25°C". Compare t...
