Gary Mull Freedom 30/32 for sale
I am seriously putting my 1987 F30 (retrofitted with a sugar scoop stern) up for sale at $20k. Bagatelle is located in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas. I have recently replaced the house batteries with Victron SuperCycle AGMs, the water pressure pump, and refurbished the head. For more info see att...

Re: F30/32 for sale in the Bahamas
Yes it is. I showed the boat to one couple who have owned two Freedoms and they really liked it, but they have not worked out where they would keep her if they bought the boat.

F30/32 for sale in the Bahamas
With a heavy heart I am putting Bagatelle up for sale. As some of you have seen on this board, I have repaired the mast damaged by hurricane Dorian with the help of Eric Sponberg. I am confident that it's at least as strong as the original. Barring another cat.5 hurricane that knocks the boat over o...

Re: Repairing a broken mast on an F30
Tricia I think Strong Track is made by some one else. I am happy with the Tides Marine track (and thanks to Paul Dennis of Warren River Boatworks for suggesting it). I had to replace several feet of track and the only place I could find that could supply an exact match wanted to sell me a 10 foot le...

Repairing a broken mast on an F30
I have successfully completed the repair of Bagatelle's mast. With the advice of Eric Sponberg I created a carbon sleeve to go inside the mast pieces at the break, and glued them together using West 610 epoxy. Then I scarfed the joint and laminated more carbon over it. The repair was finished by a f...

sheaves in boom of F30
my sheaves have seen better days, and I am thinking of replacing the 4 in the forward end cap of my boom. Though Rigrite has the originals, they charge an arm and a leg for them ($32 each). Shaefer has a better sheave (Delrin rather than acetyl, costing $17) with slightly different dimensions: 2" ra...

Length of reefing lines on F30
I have to replace the reefing lines since my boom (as well as my mast) was damaged by Hurricane Dorian and the yard cut away the lines in order to clear the debris. I have cut about an inch off the forward end of the boom and drilled new holes to attach the end cap. As I guess was true of other Free...

Re: Mast track for F30
I have decided to install a Tides Marine mast track instead, since it does not have to be supported for its full length. I am told that the greater stresses are exerted at the middle and upper part of the mast. Putting a few screws into the mast to support the track at its lower end, where I am miss...
