Re: 30/32 Replacement Head
Thank you very much for the input. I looked at the Raritans and that is indeed what we have. I have located a couple that seem to be reasonably priced and seem to be better made than the Jabsco units. It would be great to have a Vacuflush system but from what I see, they may be slightly out of our b...

Hello All, I am looking to replace the toilet on our 32 Mull and had a couple of questions. Does anyone know what brand and model the original toilets Freedom uses on the 32? I am currently 3.5 hours away from he boat which is also buried under 3 feet of snow so I am not able to see it. I would love...

water heater engine fittings
I have a question for everyone. I am need of the heater hose fitting on top of my engine that routes coolant to the water heater. I have the 2GM20 in our boat. The previous owner removed the fitting and plugged off the port when they removed the water tank. It appears to be 5/8 heater hose fitting w...

Re: Frozen Engine Shut Off Cable
I just replaced my cable on our 30/32. The marina we are at had one in stock. Only charged us maybe 30 dollars for it. The cable came right from Yanmar. The replacements go by the length of the existing cable. I believe there were four options in the catalog when we looked it up last year.

Re: Oil Pressure Switch vs Oil Pressure Sender
If you are looking to get rid of the annoying light and alarm until you can get somewhere to fix it, you can disconnect the pressure switch as it may be shorting out. Without getting to technical, the way these usually work is voltage from the light and buzzer will be provided with a path to ground ...

Re: Cleaning Fuel Tank
I just did this last summer on out 30/32. I had just bought the boat and the fuel and the boat had been sitting dormant for the last 8 years. The fuel was getting slimy and milky. I drained the tank (all 18 gallons of it) into cans. I then had a gallon of non aerosol brake parts cleaner from the dea...

Re: Autohelm Autopilot
Just an update. I was able to locate a complete Autohelm 3000 system for sale online. I purchased the system and wired the controller to my drive unit and it works great. I am selling the 3000 drive motor and wheel mount on Ebay if anyone is interested in bidding on it. The listing is http://www.eba...

Re: F-30 Running Rigging
I just got done replacing all of the running rigging on my F-32. I used a company I found on the internet and recommended to me by several others. Their site is www.cajunrope.com. I believe they are based in Canada. They are very reasonably priced and is good quality rope from what I could see. I ha...
