I once shipped a 13 ft spinnaker pole across the US From NC to San Francisco and had to use a motor carrier. UPS, FEDEX Etc wanted nothing to do with it.

When my wife and i owned the F32 the post was difficult to remove. once i had to remove the entire assembly and have a machine shop separate the base and post. after that i would, when i remembered to do it, squirt a bit of WD 40 around the base and it never seized again. needs to be done at least o...

I replaced mine last year and didn't use a spliced end. I did something a little different and used one line. Used a bowline on one side of the traveler and ran through blocks then through cleat to other side and basically reversed the process through the cleat and block to the traveler and used a b...
