Re: F 32 needs a new skipper
I love my 21, and I'd definitely love to move up to a bigger boat. But really the limiting factor is slip size - I'm getting a great deal on a slip in the St Pete Municipal Marina because I can fit in a small non-liveaboard slip on the seawall. If I go past 27 feet though, I have to move up to a re...

At the 1985 Annapolis, sailboat show a young version of me fell in love with the new Freedom 32 from Garry Hoyt. Insert a few decades and now health is forcing me to part with her. She is living on the gulf side of Florida. Soon I will post a formal sales sheet for “Encore”. If you have interest in ...

Re: Freedom sail replacement Is there a consensus is there a consensus
Not from sailing so much but just from life… If I am recommended an individual or a particular shop that’s what I’m going to use. Just because there might be another shop with the same brand down the street I don’t want know what kind of work they do. Make sense?

Re: F32 Water tank replacement/clenaout
Had mine professionally cleaned along with fuel for the first time. I left the door open for the tech to give me a long list of “must do” things. Shame on me. He came back with a fuel report of excellent. I expected him to tell me to dump it. After wiping down the inside he shared there was no metal...

Re: exhaust pipe access
Rich, All the R&R I did on my exhaust was under the galley sink. This part is memory... once the cushions are removed from the aft berth there is a sheet of plywood. IF that unscrews you may have access but I doubt it. The fiberglass shell may block your access. Don't be surprised if you have to dro...
