Re: How do I fix this?

Thanks Rick, that's exactly what my husband said.... not that I don't trust him. But he's not a sailor and happy to get a 2nd opinion.

Re: How do I fix this?

Thank you for your response. I hope to figure this out soon since my season's end is fast approaching - or a reasonable fix...I don't want to cause any damage.

While sailing, our clew broke away from the boom. I think it was a shackle we lost but not certain. What do I replace this with and does the shackle piece go through the slide, outhaul wire and the clew? Thanks for your help. I have a 1990 freedom 32.

Re: Looking for Massachusetts Sail maker

Thanks for the feedback! Curious about what is considered expensive? I did a random price quote online and got a quote for around $1900 which included 3 reefs, full battens, and insignia.

Looking for Massachusetts Sail maker

I'm sure this has been asked before...nothing on my search result. I will need to replace my mainsail after this season for a 1990 Freedom 32 - original main sail and now with a tear. Can anyone recommend a sail maker for Freedoms? I noticed Haarstick is the OEM for Freedom and somewhat local. Has a...
