Hi,
I have the original barn door rudder. Thinking to shorten it to reduce the weather helm, as written on some of the previous threads on this forum.
Is there anyone here that has the dimensions of a reduced rudder for a Cat Ketch F35?

Re: Masthead Unit CK35
Thanks Gerald!
You were right it is a bit crowded on the top of the main. Will build a bracket to place in it just below the mast plate.

Masthead Unit CK35
Hi,
I have been looking through various photos of Masthead units (wind transducer) and noticed that many have placed them on the Mizzen mast. It is my understanding that the clean air from the main would be a better placement. Can anyone share there thoughts or experiences with this?

Re: Varifold- propeller to F35 cat ketch
Hi Doug, Thanks for your reply. I have a Bellmarine 6kW system which I have the ability to regenerate my batteries (but have not made this reprogramming yet). It is a 48V system with 2 banks of AGM batteries @ 300aH. As the propeller was original I have not been able to fully test it and find my ran...

Varifold- propeller to F35 cat ketch
HI, I have recently changed my old MD11 Volvo Penta to a new 6kW Bellmarine electric engine. The first sea trials have gone well but we have come to the conclusion that the propeller should be changed to get better performance. We are looking at a 13" x 9" with 3 blads fast, but I am also considerin...

F35- center board
Hi,
This summer I am planning to take off the centreboard, inspect and service the drum and bearings. Does anyone have some documents or even better photos of how to go about doing this. Also, is there any specs. on the bearing? Thankful for any tips.

F35 mizzen length
Hi,
My mizzen mast is in for repairs. The builder wants to insure that we have the proper length. Does anyone have the measurements?
Thanks in advance

Re: Wishbone boom
Thanks for your reply Gerald. I have considered making the boom in wood, as the original. Please do send the measurements of your booms and could you also send pictures of the choker set-up and end-plate?

Shae
