It's been far too long since I did anything on the boat. New babies have that effect.
I have the batteries and charger all sorted. The only thing keeping me in the slip is that stupid gooseneck to mast plate and oh about a grand worth of running rigging.

Re: New Freedon 25 owner checking in
New tiller is on and works great. Ended up getting 15 sail master. The thing is remarkably light, much lighter than the 10 Honda 4 stroke that was on her before. The extra long shaft works out great. I was able to take her out for a spin around the harbor under power. It was great to be back on the ...

Re: New Freedon 25 owner checking in
Still waiting on an engine. I have spent the last few weeks cleaning the cabin and spit polishing various bits. In my last attempt to pump the bilge the ole gusher 10 pump has stopped pulling water so a rebuild is in order. I still need to clean up her sails and then clean and lube the mast Track an...

Re: New Freedon 25 owner checking in
Still searching for an engine. What size are people running on their boats and what would you recommend. Previously she had a 4 stroke 9.9hp Honda but it was difficult to keep then prop from cavitating even in mild seas. Looking for extra long shaft.

Re: New Freedon 25 owner checking in
Can I ask you, what is that discoloration on the deck and what are you using to clean it up ? I ask because it appears to look like the lichen that has covered much of a Contest 29 that I am restoring and wonder the best way to remove it\. I am using a cheap electric pressure washer to remove 99% o...

Re: Freedom 25 Line Measurements
I have found the Stock lengths on the forum but I wish I could have tried them out before replacing all the lines.
Oh well guess I can shorten them as needed.

Re: New Freedon 25 owner checking in
Super excited that the winches were able to be saved. It'd amazing how much gunk can get inside the drum. A thorough cleaning and application of some Lewmar winch grease and a dab of machine oil for the pawls and she spins free as the wind. Free spooling winches and ratchet block main sheet I can't ...

Yes please, that would be awesome. I used to live in Kingston and I'd go even if the boat is not ready by then.

Yep she floats just fine. She also cleans up pretty nice as well. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206/GreenG20t/freedom%2025%20restore/61B7345D-46A5-40D2-9C7E-1193A20BCF18.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w206/GreenG20t/freedom%2025%20restore/8BB12EE5-5506-4719-9216-74C255C39335.jpg
