The sheave is missing. I believe the rest of the block is intact. Here's a closeup of it. I'll send you another pic when I take it off. Thanks for your ideas.

Ya, I only have one fore halyard so it may have been for the spinnaker. My boat is a 1987 vintage. Looks like some kind of plastic pulley and a stainless steel housing. I checked harken and schaefer but couldn't find anything. You don't know which manufacturer may have fabricated this block? IMG_867...
