Re: Strength of the Pilot House on the Freedom 39PH

Real life experience, with the strength of the pilot house superstructure of the Freedom 39? How strong is it really? Would it be able to withstand breaking waves from a survival type storm? Salut P-A, The front end of the PH is resting on the main mast partner crossbeam at the deck level. Probably...

Due to long term assignment away from Canada, Naïade is now for sale. No effort, time and $ have been spared to maintain and upgrade her since I bought her from her original owner in 2005. This was to be my "last" Freedom. For more details, please visit my website at http://naiade5.cyberquebec.ca . ...

Compact, robust, trouble free (and supported by NAVICO in the US and Canada. Would recommend, but not available anymore i...

Re: Engine Pull - F39ph

I did take out and reinstall twice my Perkins 4.108 whithout problems, see pictures attached. Just tilt 45 degrees transmission low and put a blanket around the hatch and a piece of plywood to protect the lower stairs. Pull in as it is coming down, piece of cake ;)

Pilot House 39 Windows material and thickness

Re: F44 centerboard

I’ve also noticed that bronze strut itself is slightly bended ?? . By looking closely from astern I noticed that prop shaft itself has slight offset to starboard side relative to the skeg . This is a standard setup, in order to be able to pull out the shaft and not be obsructed by the rudder/skeg.

Readings from GPS or speed transducer (paddlewheel)?

Re: F39PHS FOREMAST WEIGHT

Mike Holibar wrote:Hi all,

I am just about to remove the foremast on Fyne Spirit to fix the movement at the base. Can anyone give me an idea of the weight of the mast?
Thanks,
I'd say about 100 kg fore, 140 aft.
