trailer advice Freedom 21 shoal draft
Hi All, I have an F21 shoal draft and I am thinking about fixing up an old trailer to transport and store the boat. I have seen a lot of photos on the web of such trailers and have a good idea how to modify the trailer (e.g., keel support board and bunks) but I was curious if it is a problem if the ...

Re: Mast rake angle
Hi Erik, I have a 21, which is probably a different beast than the 33, but when I set my mast I ended up with a fair amount of back rake. I have been sailing with it for the past year and it sails fine, but I am convinced that if I straitened the mast the boat will hold better in gusts and strong wi...

F21 spinnaker pole diameter
Hi all, I have seen a few posts about the gun mount rig, but I am still looking for the diameter of the pole on the F21. I have the gun mount but need to make the pole. I measured the inner diameter of the gun mount sleeve at 3.25 inches. I can get aluminum tube stock in 3.25 and 3.00 inch outer dia...

trying to contact F25 "ICU" or "I see you" -- buzzard bay
Saw you guys out on the water yesterday. Tried searching for "ICU" or "I See You" on the site, but nothing came up. Anyone know this Freedom 25 sailing in Buzzards Bay, MA? Would love to get in contact so as to know some fellow "smaller" freedom owners in the area.
Best wishes

Re: F21 Traveler Rail.. broken bolts
Thanks Clark. You say that you held the screwdriver topside and attached the bolt from below (inside cabin). That makes perfect sense to me as bolting it all together will hold the traveler rail tight. Just out of curiosity, was the original configuration of your screws with the head on top and nuts...

Re: Freedom 21 Port lights
Olivia, The port lights on my F21 were leaking. The original caulking between the port light and the cabin had eroded over time. In some places there was even a noticeable gap. I simply coated the area where the port light meets the boat as well as any joins in the port light with a liberal applicat...

Re: How do you rig the gun mount pole?
Hi all, I have been reading this post and others about the gun mount system and still have a few questions about the specs for the freedom 21. Can anyone tell me the dimensions for the pole (or yard) on the freedom 21 gun mount system (length, outer diameter, thickness)? I have found info for some o...

Re: F21 Traveler Rail.. broken bolts
Hi hkowalczyk
Thanks for your reply. I have a question still. From inside the cabin, the screw heads have snapped off and the shaft of the screw is flush with the cabin top, so how do I get them out?

Re: F21 Traveler Rail.. broken bolts
Hi all, I want to pick up this thread and see if you guys or others can offer some advice about repairing the traveler on my freedom 21. The traveler is starting to lift up on one end. From inside the cabin there are a number of round or mushroom headed screws, with big washers, going up into the tr...
