i'm about to buy a freddom 28/30 (u.k.–version) ketch (centerboard–version).
never sailed a ketch before.
i wonder if you always have to have the mizzen–sail up (when – and when not?) – or if you're also be able to sail without it (when – under which circumstances?)?

thank you very much, indeed! so, water in the bilge – which can cause nasty follow–ups – the a wiggly main mast are the main problems? well, maybe a bilge–pump might be helpful then. so it's not easy to check the bilge? about the wiggly mastfoot… …that sounds… odd… is it difficult to open the floorb...
