Re: PSS Shaft Seal
That shaft seal shouldn't create any vibration. In the beginning you might get a light spray while the carbon part polishes against the stainless rotor. The only vibration I can think of, would be if the engine was miss aligned with the shaft.

Re: Fuel tank removal on F32
Well I was finally able to remove it. In case if anyone thinking of doing the same thing, I ended up cutting up the seating area to get it out, it was stuck with foam really well. I also ended up using jigsaw with metal blades and slice the top off the tank and then cut the tank into pieces . I ende...

Fuel tank removal on F32
So I'm the process of removing diesel tank and engine to switch over to electric propulsion on my 1984 Freedom 32. I thought I would be able to remove my fuel tank intact but I'm running into issues. Tank is foamed in and I did my best to remove most of the foam but it is pretty tight on the other 3...

Battery to battery charging question

Sometime in a future I will switch from yanmar diesel to full electric motor. My idea to make things simple, is to create a separate ...

Engine driven Sea Frost system removal
Hi, Just wondering if anybody with engine driven Sea Frost refrigeration system, ever removed it themselves. My boat came with it and seems like it is leaking somewhere and working properly. I looked through maintenance records from previous 2 owners and looks like it was leaking every 2 years and h...

depth and speed sensor question
I found my speed sensor that is not installed and looks like there is a screw in plug where that sensor supposed to go in. I'm assuming it is possible to unscrew the cap and slide the sensor in and screw the cap back in while on the water? I'm guessing the water will go in so gotta do it quick. Also...
