Re: Propane Tank for Freedom 32

Thanks. You are lucky that on the Freedom 38 your tanks are vertical. Unfortunately on the 32 they are horizontal, resting in the combing boxes. Horizontal requires different innards, which results in using the vapor, not the liquid, thereby eliminating the pesky fiery explosion. A chat with Worthin...

Re: Propane tank

Awesome. That might be plan B. Our Freedom 32's have HORIZONTAL orientation 6# tanks. Ugh. Fit in the combing boxes neatly, wooden cradels. Perfect, except they stopped making them. Chatted up the manufacturer to no avail..."we dont make them" after 6 emails back and forth until he finally got the H...

Re: Propane tank

Anyone find a source for these valves?

My tank in my Freedom 32 just started leaking and everyone in Florida seems to have zero idea what to do, how to do it.

Yikes.

Main Sheet Car and Sheaves replacement F-32

I think Kenyon made the main sheet car that moves back and forth on the traveler rail. The old sheaves have since deteriorated and I am having a lot of difficulty finding the size to replace them. Replacing the entire system seems a bit of a large fix for a small problem. Any ideas for sourcing repl...

Re: Cutlass Bearing

I have replaced my cutlass bearing twice with only removing the prop. The rubber bushing holding it in was nearly gone. The yard said that they do this all the time, especially during bottom painting haulouts (we are in the water 365 in Florida). It only cost $50 plus a $110 bearing. Don't wait, the...

Re: Port windows F32

I replaced mine with solid tempered glass, tinted. The original ones were cracked, old and leaky. They used tape and caulked afterwards, very sleek, one long window. Zero screws. Looking for a picture that isnt too large to upload. Glass gives way more light, less distortion and very difficult to br...

Re: Shore Power Receptacle - F32

Mine actually had that problem on my last trip. After freaking out and thinking the shore power generator wasn' working (or worse) I noticed that the connection just didn't work well, and often not at all. Bad connection. I replaced the cord with one with a light and locking mechanism but didn't go ...
