Re: Leaky Gudgeon Bolts
Last summer, before taking the boat out of the water, I climbed-low crawled ect to see. I removed the hot water heater which made it easier. I was thinking the packing gland but ruled that out. Next was the stern tube but once I got back there it was obvious the grudgeon bolts were the culprit. Righ...

Leaky Gudgeon Bolts
So one of my issues I need to fix while the boat is on the hard is the "Wallowed Out" bolt holes. Looks like original from 1981. On the inside I was considering roughing up the fiberglass, creating a dam and pouring some slow cure epoxy (Table Top Stuff - up to 4-inch pours) to "Fill the Void" back ...

Re: Is this a G10 rig?
May replace what I have with some 1/4" inch (6-mm) Dyneema... The bigger stuff does catch and jam. The motor finally arrived in San Francisco and is going through customs. Hopefully it will show up here in a couple of weeks. Once the boat is back in the water I will take more pictures with the sails...

Re: Is this a G10 rig?
Biggest issue so far is what I used for "lacing". The top has a few section of 1-inch webbing. Not the best stuff - strong as heck but alot of friction on the mast. I did get parrels beads but got the wrong size. Will be replacing with larger beads and line. Right now just figuring out the reefing l...

Re: Is this a G10 rig?
Oh yeah too many projects. The bummer is I took all of May off from work to get the motor installed. I have been doing things here and there but I will now have to spend a few hours after work each day once the motor shows up.

Main sail. Working on the lacing but the wind kicked up. The roach isn't too much.

Re: Current Boat Location Photo.
It green. Most of our snow is gone. Things are turning green, bird, bees and bears are out roaming. Now I just need a motor to arrive....

Re: And it begins
Not sure. Those were all the old stuff I took down. It actually started to crumble as I removed it.
My addition was a Davis Wind Vane on the mizzen. Both main and mizzen got new blocks and a check. All new lines (rigging) was mostly installed. What is left I can get at deck level.
