Old Yanmar will be donated to our local College that has a diesel engine course. It should be a good project for them.

Not sure your "On the Hard" cost. I prioritize my list based upon things I needed to do while the boat is out of the water vs what I could do in the water. I'm more focused on functioning and safe operation 1st, the prettiness is second.

Other positive is the 25 is 3-4 months out versus 6-7 for the 30.

Here is my area of issue - the aft mounts. To fit the 30 I will have to bump the motor forward 4-6 inches approximately. The 25 will fit better but I loose a little hp. Shown below is the 25.
