Hi Lydie,
Yes we can organize a walk through. I'm not in the area but my buddy can totally do that for us. How can I pass my info on to you?
Thank you,
Johnnie

Re: Selling my 1983 freedom 33 cat ketch
Also, asking $35K and that is taking into consideration some of the bad that I can discuss in more detail if interested. For example, some of the interior wood around a few port lights needs repaired when re sealing the port lights, small vertical crack on starboard side above the water line. decora...

Re: Selling my 1983 freedom 33 cat ketch
Sorry for the late response. I didn't have the notify me button on to let me know I had some responses. I'm only able to attach three pics at a time but can email any individual more pics if interested. I've attached 3. I have not listed it anywhere yet and will be honest, I have only had the boat a...

Selling my 1983 freedom 33 cat ketch
I am reluctantly seeking my freedom 33 after taking a job in Florida. I can't afford to bring it down from Texas. It's close to galveston. Has a couple of small leaks at port light, hatch and mast but otherwise in excellent condition.

Re: Mast leaks
Thank you Josh and Alan, Also if u zoom in, u can see the forward bolt on that collar is not tightened down. I know bottom about this collar so I have no idea if that was purposeful for the sake of making the mast plum or if I can just tighten that down. If I can tighten it, would u throw some sort ...

Sailing a Cat Ketch specifically
Hi All,
Is there any literature out there that discussed techniques and/or differences for sailing a cat ketch vs a sloop? I realized hands on is the best but just thought I'd pick y'all's brains.
Thank You,
Guero

Re: Bimini for Freedom 33
Hi Jim, Thank you for replying. It's a two part boat in terms of use. For now it'll be a live aboard part time where I'll stay when working on the coast. Within the next two years I plan to learn the boat and how to sail her in galveston bay area. Within 2 years I'm hoping to retire and plan on spen...
