Re: New Mainsail Freedom 45cc and Hard Top
Looks great. Nothing like the performance of molded sails. I recently replaced my 45cc sails with Quantum as well but went with a more traditional Tri=Radial Radian Dacron sail. Very happy with the sail.

Re: Freedom 45CC core question
I recently replaced the engine intake seacock on the starboard side of the engine bed and the area is cored. The seacocks were potted in some type of resin to to protect the core. This potting broke when the old seacock (5200'd in) was chiseled out. I resealed the area with about an 1" of West syste...

More pics. The yard built custom brackets for the 4jh57 to drop on the holes of the 4jhtbe including dealing with the height difference between front and back. No real glasswork in this project. We also installed a 1" intake seacock and a 8 gallon isotemp water heater. IMG_1295.jpeg IMG_1300.jpeg IM...

Re: Repower F45 CC
This project is complete. It has been quite a journey and we sea trialed in early November before putting her back to bed for winter. The normally aspirated 4JH57 is super smooth and quiet and powers at about 7 knts at 2K RPM in flat water with 3 bladed max-prop. Lots of cleanup work in wiring and p...

Sail material F45cc
I am shopping for some new sails for an F45CC. Anyone go beyond dacron sails for these boats? With the bendy rigs do they benefit much from more exotic sails? The quotes I have now include radial dacron, radial hydranet and North laminate Cruise Xi. The boat has a roller furling boom as well. Peter ...

Re: Gel coat colour
I recently purchased a F45CC as well. Would be happy to compare notes if interested. My boat has some cabin top crazing as well and needs some chip repair on the transom edge. My hull and cabin top look like your typical just off white. Previous owner notes say 952 Buffback gelcoat. "Sport Yacht Whi...

Old engine ready for the crane. Thank you Archimedes. Cabinetry demo was not as bad as I thought as yard was able cleanly remove the front panel.

Re: F45 Anchor washdown system
I though it might be unique to my boat but the blue F45 for sale on YW has the same holes in the bow. When I saw that, I figured this might have been an option and more boats out there have it installed.
