S/V Arctic Tern’s cutlass bearing is located in the stern tube. There is no strut to damage. Look for and back off any set screws before trying to remove the cutlass.

If I remember correctly the mast is 36ft long. I used to trailer mine twice a year, strapped on top if the bow pulpit and a 2x4 support at the stern.
