Re: Reefing Blocks in Boom

Looking for some info on replacing my Reefing lines. I have also had problems shaking out a reef. I have an F35 (Pedrick) with the butterfly block in the boom. I usually need to haul the Reefing line out of the aft end of the boom when raising the main from a reefed main to a full main. It's inconve...

Re: Advice on upgrades to Freedom 35

Bob, My F35 (96 Pedrick) has the same shower as Ed. It works great and doesn't take up much room at all. It came with the boat when I bought her 6 seasons ago so I don't know if it was factory installed or not. I don't think it would be a big job to install. I've attached a photo of the stern of my ...

Re: Narragansett Bay Get Together 2015

Dutch Harbor is a great location. Moorings available, excellent holding ground, great swimming, short walk to Jamestown village. I've had a mooring there for several years. I'm in. Quite a few Freedoms in the Narragansett Bay area as well.
Sounds like fun.

Re: Frozen Engine Shut Off Cable

Thanks for the input everybody. The replacement Yanmar cable had a part number with a 7000 mm length (23'). The job was fairly easy. The cable was reasonably accessible. WAY easier than when I replaced a shut off cable on my last boat. It wasn't all that expensive either - about $30. Imagine that.

Frozen Engine Shut Off Cable

Hi All,

I have a frozen engine shut off cable on a F35 Pedrick with a Yanmar 3GM30F. Anyone know the proper replacement cable?

Thanks

Re: Transducer Installation F35

Mike,
Thanks for the tip. I took a closer look at the location of the transducers and it does appear that they are in solid laminate not core. I'm happy about that.

Transducer Installation F35

Hi All, My 1996 F35 has the original Raymarine instruments. Last season, with the boat in the water, the masthead wind unit broke. I replaced the masthead unit and display. It didn't make economic sense to buy only the wind instrument only so I bought the entire package of wind, depth and speed. Bef...
