Re: Raymarine i70

I'm also thinking about installing the i70s (I assume that's what you meant, since it's replaced the i70) to replace my "vintage" Datamarine Corinthian Series instruments from 1985. I'd love to take what was once on 3 giant displays and have it all on one small screen. It seems like a simpler instal...

Re: Quarter berth leak, possibly sugar scoop related?

Are the holes you're talking about somewhere in this area? I felt around and I couldn't find any holes, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

Quarter berth leak, possibly sugar scoop related?

I noticed an accumulation of salt water (I believe) in the compartment behind the aft wall of the quarter berth in my F36/38. I'm thinking that the source is the sugar scoop that was added to the transom (i.e., not glassed in), but I'm not sure how to address it. Has anyone else experienced this iss...

Re: F36 cockpit locker setup pics?

Wow, these are some great ideas, thanks for sharing! I never would have thought to put turnbuckles on those toe rail bolts, very interesting.

Was there a shelf in your locker like the one in the second picture, or was that something that a PO of my boat installed?

Re: F36/38 Steering Wheel

My 1986 F36/38 has what I believe is the original wheel, and it is 32" in diameter. Hope that helps!

Re: F36 cockpit locker setup pics?

Here are some pictures I took of the locker when I first went to see the boat—unfortunately, not much has changed ;) :

F36 cockpit locker setup pics?

Hi everyone! I purchased a 1986 F36/38 last July, and I've working on getting everything dialed in over the winter. One of my current projects is a re-organization of the massive cockpit locker on the port side. I never really cleared it out after getting the boat, and it's since become filled with ...
